I had a luxury sausage roll and even cold the next day, oh my goodness me, it was delicious. The hevva cake was also great. Apparently it’s a classic Cornish recipe. Amazing they’re baking Cornish food. The window was full of other treats. Such variety. I could have eaten half the shop. It’s nice that they don’t just sell Cornish pasties but other stuff too. Lovely independent bakery.

Lucky we stopped here. Mega cakes and nice service. We opted for the carrot cake, coffee cake and chocolate brownie cheesecake. All super tasty, very large pieces - enough for 2 people.

We walked past here on our way down to the beach and said we would pop in onthe way back. Im so glad we did. The cheese and veg pasty I got was delicious, the chocolate shortbread was lovely too! Just wish we had got a cream tea to go from here instead of somewhere else as it looked so much better! Huge scones!

Lovely vegan pasty! Crispy pastry and a tasty filling…great balance between the two. Good size, well worth the £4.50 paid. Nicely warmed, we were able to eat them right away. We went down to the beach at Pednolva Walk…it takes 2 mins to get there and it’s dog friendly.

Down from Plymouth for the weekend, looking for a 'cake' shop we came across this beauty on a Visit to St Ives. Chose the carrot cake and black forest. Omg they were amazing but the Carrot was easily the best we have ever had. Going to pop back on Monday and grab some more to take home

Over the last two years, we’ve tried their chocolate cake which was extremely moist, their brownies which are deliciously buttery and rich, a chocolate chip shortbread which was a massive serving (like a slab!) and very light. We’ve tried their cookies which are huge and most notably, their scones (we used our own jam but I expect theirs is great) and these, I can only describe as the best scones we have ever tried!!
We’re excited to visit again soon.- Meal type

After reading some reviews on Google, we decided to give The Makers a try on our visit to St Ives. The steak pasty was perhaps one of the best I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve had lots) The pastry was perfect. 🤌🏼 So if you’re on the hunt for lunch, try this place and make sure you buy a large one! I’ll be definitely be visiting again when I’m next in town.

No-brainer.
So far have tried the cookies, sausage rolls and a massive slice of biscoff cake for myself. Family and I were not disappointed and this will now be an annual pilgrimage on the family holiday for me. :)- Service

The best Cornish pasty ever—perfect balance of meat and veg, absolutely delicious. The Bakewell tart is out of this world. We tried a selection of pastries and every single one was worth it.

I bought a slice of carrot cake and you get a large slice! Their cakes are huge. It was lovely and moist. I had to go back and get a slice of the Forest Gatuea for my birthday today. I have had the veggie pasties they sell in the past, and I love the pastry. The woman serving me today was very friendly, so perhaps another server was on when they didn't receive such good rapport.

The window display says it all really - absolutely beautiful yet whopping bakes and pastries. The prices are reasonable given being in St Ives and the sheer size of things, and the staff are very friendly and happy to help. They even offer discounted items at the end of the day if they havnt sold out, which is a rare occurrence by the way! Though busy, the staff work hard to keep queues short, and the experience is always great. The pasties are up there with some of the best in St Ives, and you simply cannot leave without some of the lemon meringue, mmmmm!- Service

We came in to admire the absolutely enormous chocolate cake that was displayed in the window, and ended up leaving with a slice that lasted the two of us two days. The chocolate cake is absolutely amazing, and so moist and rich. I’m hoping they open up a location in London soon!
We ordered the carrot cake and lemon meringue pie and loved both slices! Reasonably priced for the size of slices.

The food is absolutely amazing and unlike any other place in St Ives! It would be even better if the staff could warm up with a friendly smile. This has been my consistent experience, leaving me with a lasting impression each time.
